NC Bankruptcy Section Greeting
By Dear Bankruptcy Section Members,
I am excited to be your section Chair this year.
As bankruptcy filings are picking up, the mission of the Bankruptcy Section to provide timely updates on legal and legislative developments is becoming increasingly important. It is also my priority this year to maximize networking, mentorship, and development activities throughout our three bankruptcy districts.
In service to both education and fellowship, we will hold the annual North Carolina Bankruptcy Institute November 15-16 at the Lumina Resort on Wrightsville Beach. Kathleen O’Malley and her planning committee are putting together a terrific program. Please save the date for our section’s premier event!
We have several committees seeking to improve bankruptcy practice in North Carolina. If you are interested in working on any of these committees, or otherwise in becoming involved in the section, please reach out to me.
