Make the Most Of Summer With the NCBA Member Benefits App
Three things begin happening between May and June that let me know summer is here:
- I have to wait at least two minutes till the AC kicks in before I can stand to drive my car.
- Parking on Franklin Street in downtown Chapel Hill is readily available.
- The number of automatic reply emails from NCBA members is significantly higher than usual.
When I receive those messages I always hope that our members are taking a break from work and heading somewhere fun on vacation, whether it be to a local beach or out of the country. But then I wonder if they used their NCBA Member Discounts to get the best travel or entertainment deals possible and if they downloaded the newest way to access those benefits in the NCBA Member Benefits App.
Available for iPhone and Android devices, the NCBA Member Benefits App ensures NCBA members always have access to more than 20 company discounts and member resources. These include discounts on hotels worldwide, car rentals and entertainment options such as Broadway shows, theme parks and movie tickets.
I found the hotel discounts very beneficial when traveling to Sonoma last summer to tour California wine country.
But even when the fun is over, the app is useful for work or back-to-school needs, too. For example, it includes a preloaded Office Depot card that provides in-store access to NCBA member contract pricing.
Also on the app are event and notification modules, which NCBA staff will update with major announcements and specific calendar items.
The bottom line is that the NCBA Member Benefits App puts a world of discounts and resources in the pockets of NCBA members at all times with easy accessibility.
