Learn About the UBE With the YLD Bar Exam Committee

Please join the Young Lawyers Division Bar Exam Committee as they host a presentation about the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE). As many of you know, North Carolina is switching to the UBE exam in February 2019 and this transition has raised a lot of questions. What is the UBE? How is it different from the previous bar exam? How will it affect my ability to practice in other states? How will it affect my job prospects? How will it affect employee recruitment?

If you’re interested in learning the answers to these questions and many more, please join us for a brief presentation. Lee A. Vlahos, Executive Director of the North Carolina Board of Law Examiners, will be presenting and answering any questions you may have. Light refreshments will be served. If you’re unable to attend this event, don’t worry! Livestream options will be available.

When: Wednesday, November 7,  5:30-6:30 p.m.

Where: NC Bar Center, | 8000 Weston Parkway, Cary
